Lureuil is about 45 kilometers east-northeast of Poitiers . Lureuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities Martizay in the north, Lingé in the east, Douadic in the south-east, Pouligny-Saint-Pierre in the south, Tournon-Saint-Martin in the west and Bossay-sur-Claise in the north-west.
