Rosnay is a French municipality with 519 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Le Blanc and the Canton of Le Blanc .

Rosnay is located in the Brenne Regional Nature Park (French: Parc naturel régional de la Brenne), about 35 kilometers from Châteauroux , and houses its administration. The Cinq Bondes River runs along the northern municipal boundary . The districts of Rosnay are: La Chaume, Le Coudreau, La Collarderie, La Vignauderie and La Gilardière. Neighboring communities of Rosnay are Saint-Michel-en-Brenne in the north, Migné in the east, Ciron in the south-east, Ruffec in the south, Le Blanc in the south-west, Douadic in the west and Lingé in the north-west.
