Rosnay is located in the Brenne Regional Nature Park (French: Parc naturel régional de la Brenne), about 35 kilometers from Châteauroux , and houses its administration. The Cinq Bondes River runs along the northern municipal boundary . The districts of Rosnay are: La Chaume, Le Coudreau, La Collarderie, La Vignauderie and La Gilardière.
