Saint-Benoît-du-Sault is a French municipality with 602 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Le Blanc and the canton of Saint-Gaultier .
Saint-Benoît-du-Sault is one of the most beautiful villages in France . The community is located in the southwest of the department above the Portefeuille valley. Neighboring communities of Saint-Benoît are Parnac in the east, La Châtre-Langlin in the south and Roussines in the northwest.
