Sauzelles is located about 50 kilometers east-northeast of Poitiers on the Creuse . Sauzelles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fontgombault in the north, Pouligny-Saint-Pierre in the east and northeast, Saint-Aigny in the south and southeast, and Mérigny in the west and southwest.
