Bossay-sur-Claise is a commune in the French department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Descartes in the Arrondissement of Loches . It borders Preuilly-sur-Claise in the north-west, Charnizay in the north-east, Obterre (point of contact) in the north-east, Azay-le-Ferron and Martizay in the east, Lureuil in the south-east, Tournon-Saint-Martin and Tournon in the south -Saint-Pierre , to the southwest with Yzeures-sur-Creuse and to the west with Boussay (point of contact). The municipality marker is crossed by the Claise and an out-of-service railway line.
