Chisseaux is a French municipality with 598 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire , in the Région Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Loches and the canton of Bléré . Its inhabitants are called the Chisseaussois . The municipality is a member of the Communauté de communes de Bléré Val de Cher .

geography

Chisseaux is about 26 kilometers east-southeast of Tours on the Cher , which borders the municipality in the south. The neighboring municipalities of Chisseaux are Souvigny-de-Touraine in the north, Chissay-en-Touraine in the east, Saint-Georges-sur-Cher in the southeast, Francueil in the south and southwest and Chenonceaux in the west.
