Lussault-sur-Loire is a French commune with a population of 789 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Loches and the canton of Amboise (until 2015: canton of Vouvray ). The inhabitants are called Lussaudiers .
geography
Lussault-sur-Loire is about ten kilometers east of Tours in the Touraine countryside . The Loire limits the municipality to the north. Lussault-sur-Loire is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Noizay in the north, Nazelles-Négron in the northeast, Amboise in the east, Saint-Martin-le-Beau in the south and Montlouis-sur-Loire in the west.
