Le Louroux is a French municipality with 531 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Loches and the canton of Descartes (until 2015: canton of Ligueil ). The inhabitants are called Lourousiens .

Le Louroux is about 26 kilometers south-southeast of Tours . Le Louroux is surrounded by the neighboring communities Louans in the north, Tauxigny-Saint-Bauld in the east and northeast, Manthelan in the south and east, Bossée in the south and southwest, Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine in the southwest and Sainte-Catherine-de-Fierbois in the West.

Tours-Le Louroux airfield is located in the municipality.
