Saint-Martin-le-Beau is located in the historic province of Touraine (also called Jardin de la France ), on the Filet River and near the Cher River , which runs parallel to it and borders the municipality in the south, about 20 kilometers east of Tours . Saint-Martin-le-Beau is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lussault-sur-Loire in the north, Amboise in the north-east, Dierre in the east and south-east, Athée-sur-Cher in the south, Azay-sur-Cher in the west and south-west and Montlouis- sur-Loire in the north-west.
