Les Hermites is a French municipality with 562 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Loches and the canton of Château-Renault . The inhabitants are called Hermitois .
geography
Les Hermites is about 25 kilometers north-northeast of Tours . Les Hermites is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montrouveau in the north and north-west, Les Hayes in the north, Saint-Martin-des-Bois in the north-east, Monthodon in the east, La Ferrière in the south, Marray in the south-west and Chemillé-sur-Dême in the west.
