Abilly is a French commune with 1,151 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Loches and the Canton of Descartes . The inhabitants are called Abillois .

geography

Abilly is about 50 kilometers south of Tours on the Claise , which flows into the Creuse here . Abilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Descartes in the north, Neuilly-le-Brignon in the east and northeast, Le Grand-Pressigny in the east and southeast, Barrou and La Guerche in the south, Leugny in the southwest, Saint-Rémy-sur-Creuse in the west as well Buxeuil in the northwest.
