Saunay is about 31 kilometers northeast of Tours . Saunay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villechauve in the north and north-west, Villepocher in the north and north-east, Saint-Cyr-du-Gault in the east, Morand in the south-east, Auzouer-en-Touraine in the south and south-west, Château-Renault in the west and Neuville- sur-Brenne to the west and north-west.
