Rudolf Hirschhorn

Rudolf Siegfried Hirschhorn (born July 3, 1834 in Gießen ; † July 28, 1921 there ) was a Hessian lawyer and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Life

Rudolf Hirschhorn was the son of the businessman Simon Hirschhorn and his wife Sarah, née Bing. Hirschhorn, who was Jewish, remained unmarried.

Hirschhorn studied from 1852 at the universities of Gießen and Heidelberg . In 1865, he was a lawyer and procurator at Hofgericht casting and from 1880 lawyer at the district court of Giessen. In 1896 he was appointed to the judiciary and in 1906 to the secret judiciary . In 1916 he gave up his admission to the bar.

From 1875 to 1878 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of the city of Giessen .
