Friedrich Ludwig Klipstein (born June 29, 1799 in Darmstadt , † October 30, 1862 in Gießen ) was a Hessian judge , politician and member of the 1st and 2nd chambers of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Friedrich Ludwig Klipstein was the son of Colonel Friedrich Leopold Klipstein (1752–1833) and his wife Johanna nee Rayß (1759–1843). Friedrich Ludwig Klipstein, who was a Protestant denomination, married Camesasca (1806-1853), born in Habitzheim Sidonie, on September 2, 1826 , daughter of the princely-Löwenstein headmaster, judiciary and rentier and Habitzheim government councilor Franz Xaver Camesasca (May 4, 1752; † March 4, 1822). His brother-in-law was Anton Camesasca .

Klipstein studied law . During his studies he became a member of the Gießen Germanic Association (1816) Gießener Schwarzer and a member of the honorary mirror fraternity. After completing his studies, he was an assessor at the Umstadt and Lorsch Regional Court . In 1826 he became assessor and in 1827/28 provisional district court conductor and in 1829 district judge at the district court of Zwingenberg . In 1848 he became director and in 1857 president of the court in Giessen .

politics

In the 14th to 16th electoral term (1851–1862) he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates he represented the electoral district of Upper Hesse 1 / Gießen in the 14th electoral term and then the electoral district of the city of Gießen. From 1849 to 1850 he was an elected member of the first chamber (constituency of Bensheim and Zwingenberg) and there second president of the state parliament. From 1851 to 1856 he was second president and in 1859 president of the state parliament.
