Cussay is about 41 kilometers south-southeast of Tours . The Esves limits the community to the north. Cussay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ligueil in the north and east, Paulmy in the south-east, Neuilly-le-Brignon in the south, Descartes in the west and south-west and Civray-sur-Esves in the west and north-west.
