Yzeures-sur-Creuse is a commune with 1,380 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in France . It is in the Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire in Touraine and is part of Descartes .
geography
The small town is located in the valley of the Creuse near its confluence with the Gartempe .
history
Evidence of the settlement of the area of the present day exists from earlier times. In the village is the Dolmen de la Pierre Levée. In addition to relics from prehistoric epochs, there are also remains of early Gallic settlements. There are also buildings from Merovingian times.
