Mairie Saint-Hippolyte

Saint-Hippolyte is a commune in the French department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Loches in the Loches arrondissement . It is bordered to the north-west by Saint-Jean-Saint-Germain , to the north by Sennevières , to the north-east and east by Loché-sur-Indrois , to the south by Saint-Cyran-du-Jambot , to the south-west by Fléré-la-Rivière and to the west with Bridoré and Verneuil-sur-Indre . During the French Revolution the place was called "La Chapelle-Saint-Hippolyte". In 1827, Saint-Hippolyte took over the previously independent municipality of Vitray.
