Morand is a French municipality with 347 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Loches and the canton of Château-Renault . The inhabitants are called Morandais .
geography
Morand is about 30 kilometers northeast of Tours . Morand is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Cyr-du-Gault in the north, Saint-Nicolas-des-Motets in the east and northeast, Dame-Marie-les-Bois in the southeast, Autrèche in the south, Auzouer-en-Touraine in the west as well Saunay in the northwest.
The A10 autoroute runs through the municipality .
