Auzouer-en-Touraine is a French commune with 2,216 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Loches and is part of the canton of Château-Renault . The inhabitants are called Auzouériens .
geography
Auzouer-en-Touraine is bounded in the north-west by the river Gault and is about 20 kilometers north-east of Tours . Auzouer-en-Touraine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Château-Renault in the north, Saunay in the northeast, Morand in the east, Autrèche in the southeast, Neuillé-le-Lierre in the south and southwest, and Villedômer in the west.
The A10 car route runs along the south-eastern edge of the municipality and is crossed here by Route nationale 10 .
