The Claise is a river in France that runs in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Luant , generally drains in a north-westerly direction, crosses the water-rich Brenne Regional Nature Park and, after around 87 kilometers , flows into the Creuse as a right tributary at Rives , in the municipality of Abilly . The Claise crosses the Indre and Indre-et-Loire departments on its way .
