AB Plasta is a company based in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . It processes polyethylene and produces plastic . The company was established in 1961 as Vilniaus plastmasinių dirbinių gamykla in what was then Soviet Lithuania . In 2012 the company achieved a turnover of 80.6 million Litas (23 million euros) and a profit of 2.1 million Litas . There are 70 employees in the engineering department. In 1982 there were 2300 employees. There are shops in Vilnius, Klaipėda , Šiauliai , Panevėžys , Mažeikiai , Alytus , Marijampolė . "Plasta" has been ISO 9001 certified since 2000 .
