The Plasterinsee is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District in southeast Mecklenburg in the municipal area of Wokuhl-Dabelow . In the west it borders on the urban area of Neustrelitz . It has an approximate length of 1200 meters and an approximate width of 300 meters. It is not very structured, only in the south it has two shallow, reed bays. The lakeshore is completely wooded.
