Platja de l'Estanyet
Platja de l'Estanyet is a pebble - beach in the town Alcanar in the Comarca Montsià in the province of Tarragona in the extreme south of Catalonia in Spain .
The beach is 460 meters long and 10 meters wide and is located between the Platja del Marjal and the Camaril or Sòl de Riu coastline . The coast is rocky, so it offers good diving opportunities. The water quality has been awarded the Blue Flag eco-label .
The infrastructure of the Platja de l'Estanyet includes parking spaces, restaurants and camping opportunities. There are also two bunkers from the time of the Spanish Civil War on the beach . They were built by the republican army to defend against a possible attack by fascist troops from the Balearic Islands .
