Plavi orkestar ( Serbo-Croatian for "blue orchestra") is a rock-pop band from Sarajevo that was founded in 1983 and is particularly popular in the region of the former Yugoslavia . Like Zabranjeno pušenje, it comes from the time of Novi primitivizam ("New Primitivism"). By 2016 Plavi orkestar had released eight albums, mostly under the labels Jugoton in Zagreb (now Croatia Records ) and Diskoton in Sarajevo.

The most popular songs include Suada , Kaja , Bolje biti pijan nego star , Sava tiho teče , Zelene su bile oči te , Kad mi kažeš 'paša' , Ako su to samo bile laži and Odlazim .

occupation

Due to the Bosnian War , the original line-up disintegrated. Guitarist Mladen Pavičić emigrated to Canada , singer Saša Lošić to Ljubljana . One of the Ćeramida brothers now lives in Paris , the other lives in Sarajevo. Saša Zalepugin has been the new guitarist since the band was re-founded in 1997 .
