course

The Playford Highway begins in downtown Kingscote and heads west. A few kilometers outside the city, it takes the Hog Bay Road (B23) from the south. He crosses the Cygnet River in the town of the same name and reaches the Parndana settlement in the middle of Kangaroo Island.

Further to the west, the path leads to Flinders Chase National Park , the northern border of which it forms. This is also where the West End Highway joins from the south. From this point the Playford Highway is unpaved and leads along the northern edge of the Revine des Casoars Conservation Area to the northwesternmost point of the island, Cape Torrens , where it ends.
