Plosebahn

The Plosebahn is a cable car that leads from St. Andrä to the Plose ski area , Bressanone's local mountain . In 1986 it replaced the old Plose cable car, which ran in two sections from Brixen / Milland via St. Andrä to Kreuztal. Today's Plosebahn is also called the St. Andrä-Kreuztal gondola lift and overcomes a height difference of 979 m on a route length of 2675 m.

Their transport capacity is 1,800 people per hour.

In the Plose area there is another gondola lift to the Pfannspitze, four chair lifts (only winter operation) and a practice ski lift at the valley station. The total length of all slopes of the Plose is 42.4 km. From the top station of the Plosebahn cable car , located at 2050  m slm , you can reach a 10 km long toboggan run behind the mountain restaurant, which leads back to St. Andrä to the valley station.
