Po 'Girl is a Canadian band from Vancouver . The band name is a short form for English Poor Girl , translated "poor girl".

history
The band was founded in 2002 by Alison Russel and Trish Klein. Due to frequent changes in the line-up, the current line-up gradually emerged, which is supplemented by various live music for tours. Singer Alison Russel is also a founding member of the folk duo "Salt" (later renamed "Sofia"), the former member Trish Klein founded the country band "Be Good Tanyas" after leaving.
