Point Music

Point Music is a record label that was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between Philips Classics and Michael Riesman and Philip Glass ' Euphorbia Productions. In 1999, Decca took over distribution when Philips took over the label as part of the founding of the Universal Music Group . Point Music originally specialized in contemporary western classical music and then expanded its spectrum to include film music, some world music and rock / classical crossover projects. The label was discontinued in 2002.
