The Point Rae is a chapter that the northeast side of the entrance to the Scotia Bay on the south coast of Laurie Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands highlighted.
It was mapped in 1903 during the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition (1902-1904) under the direction of William Speirs Bruce . Bruce named the cape after his compatriot and Arctic explorer John Rae (1813-1893).
