15. San Marine Cabinet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 15th cabinet consisted of Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese (PDCS) and Partito Socialista Democratico Indipendente Sammarinese (PSDIS) and ruled San Marino from November 6, 1969 to March 27, 1973. The PDCS provided six ministers, the PSDIS four.

The Christian Democrats and the Partito Socialista Democratico Independente Sammarinese (PSDIS) had ruled together since the Rovereta clashes in 1957 . The cooperation continued even after the parliamentary elections on September 7, 1969. At the beginning of 1973 the cooperation, which was marked by increasing distrust between the partners, ended, and the cabinet submitted its resignation on February 2, 1973. After several weeks of negotiations, the PDCS, PSS and MLS agreed on a new government. This began a phase of cooperation between Christian Democrats and Socialists that lasted until 1983, some of whom formed the government together with other coalition partners.

List of ministers

The San Marinese constitution has no head of government; in the diplomatic protocol, the foreign minister takes on the role of head of government.
