28. San Marine Cabinet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 28th cabinet consisted of Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese (PDCS) and Partito Socialista Sammarinese (PSS) and ruled San Marino from May 20 to June 25, 2002.

After the parliamentary elections on June 10, 2001, a coalition government of PDCS and PSS was formed. After the PSS negotiated with the opposition at the beginning of 2002, the PDCS offered the coalition partner a reshuffle of government and an additional cabinet post. Three PDCS ministers, Sante Canducci , Clelio Galassi and Gabriele Gatti , announced their resignation on May 15th. On May 20th, the Consiglio Grande e Generale elected the new ministers.

After just a few days in office, the government lost a vote in parliament. Thereupon the Christian Democratic and on May 27th the Socialist ministers submitted their resignation on May 24th. The subsequent government , which was in office for only a few months, was formed without the PDCS by Partito dei Democratici (PdD), Alleanza Popolare (AP) and PSS.
