Maurizio Rattini

Maurizio Rattini (born November 13, 1949 in San Marino ) is a politician from San Marino .

Life

Maurizio Rattini was deputy secretary of the Partito Socialista Democratico Sammarinese, from 1993 to 1999 he was secretary of the Partito Socialista Sammarinese. He is currently a member of the Nuovo Partito Socialista, founded in 2005. Rattini was elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale , the Parliament of San Marino, in 1993 , to which he has belonged ever since. He was a member of the government as Segretario di Stato (Minister) for Territory, Environment and Agriculture, Industry and Crafts and, most recently, Minister of Health. In the parliamentary term beginning in 2008, he was elected to the Lista delle Libertà , whose parliamentary group he heads. He is a member of the Consiglio dei XII, the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Justice. For the period from April 1, 2012 to October 1, 2012, he was withItalo Righi Capitano Reggente (Head of State) of San Marino. He already held this office from October 1, 1996 to April 1, 1997.

In 2002 Rattini was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic .

Rattini is married with a daughter and a granddaughter.
