The Moorburger Berg is an artificial mountain in Hamburg-Moorburg .

It arose from the excavated soil during the construction of the Altenwerder container terminal directly on its south side on an area of around 35 hectares with a length of 1.4 kilometers and a maximum width of 350 meters. Its highest point is 21.9 meters high at the wider eastern end of the mountain, which borders the Süderelbe , while the narrow western part, separated by a small mountain saddle, only reaches 18.6 meters. Moorburg is located directly on its south side.

The official release of the mountain as a leisure area was on June 11, 2005. A dense network of hiking trails opens up the entire mountain, on which there are extensive areas of poor grass , but also orchards , dead wood areas and wetlands . From its highest point, the view extends over the container terminal over the Köhlbrand Bridge to downtown Hamburg in the north and the Harburg mountains in the south.
