Pier Paolo Gasperoni

Pier Paolo Gasperoni (born June 29, 1950 , † July 1997 ) was a San Marinese politician. He was twice Capitano Reggente (head of state) and from 1978 to 1983 Minister of Labor of San Marino.

Life

Gasperoni was a member of the Partito Socialista Unitario (PSU). In 1978 he was elected for the first time in the San Marinese parliament, the Consiglio Grande e Generale . He was re-elected in the following parliamentary elections in 1983 and - after switching to the Partito Socialista Sammarinese (PSS) - in 1988 and 1993. From 1988 to 1990 he was a substitute member, from 1991 to 1993 a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe .

In the 19th cabinet he was Minister of Labor from 1978 to 1983 (Deputato per il Lavoro ). He held the post of Capitano Reggente twice, in 1985/86 together with Ubaldo Biordi and in 1996 together with Pietro Bugli .

He died in a traffic accident at the age of only 47.
