The Alleanza Popolare dei Democratici Sammarinesi per la Repubblica ("People's Alliance of the Democrats of San Marino for the Republic"), APDS for short , is a political party in San Marino . It sees itself as a liberal party .

In the 2001 parliamentary elections, it was the fourth strongest power with 8.23% of the vote and thus won 5 of the total of 60 seats. She was then in opposition to the Christian Democratic- Socialist government coalition. From October 2003 to March 2004, however, she provided Valeria Ciavatta, one of the two heads of state ( Capitano Reggente ). In the 2006 elections, she reached 12.1% of the vote and agreed together with the PSD ( Party of Socialists and Democrats , 31.8%) and the United Left (8.7%) to form a socialist-liberal government coalition.
