6. San Marine Cabinet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 6th San Marinese cabinet was provided by the Comitato della Libertà (CdL), a list alliance of the Partito Socialista Sammarinese (PSS) and Partito Comunista Sammarinese (PCS). It was in office from March 24, 1945 to March 17, 1949.

The CdL, which has been in government since 1944, won 40 out of 60 seats in the Consiglio Grande e Generale , the parliament of San Marino , in the parliamentary elections on March 11, 1945 . In the parliamentary elections in 1949, the CdL again achieved a majority and continued to run the government until the government crisis in the summer of 1951.

List of ministers

The San Marinese constitution has no head of government; in the diplomatic protocol, the foreign minister takes on the role of head of government.

Until 1955 there were fixed departmental assignments only in exceptional cases. Only the offices of Segretario per gli Affari Esteri (Foreign Minister) and Segretario per gli Affari Interni (Interior Minister) have existed since the 19th century. However, these did not belong to the Congresso di Stato (cabinet) until the 1950s .
