The Point Zip is a headland on the coast of the East Antarctic Queen Marie-country . It protrudes 31 km west of Cape Moyes into the Shackleton Ice Shelf .

Australian scientists named it in 2018 after a sled dog from the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson . The dog was part of Belgrave Ninnis' team , who were killed on this expedition.
