The PokerStars Players Championship 2021 is set to be the second edition of this poker tournament . It was originally supposed to be played at Casino Barcelona from August 20-24 , 2020 , but has been postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic . The tournament is hosted by PokerStars .

structure

The event planned for August 2020 was postponed to 2021 in May 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic . The tournament in the variant No-Limit Hold'em is within the Poker Tour European in Barcelona played and has a buy-in of 22,500 euros . The event is a pure freeze-out , so players cannot buy-in again after being eliminated.
