Pol Toledo Bagué (born December 22, 1994 in Girona ) is a Spanish tennis player .

Career

Toledo Bagué started playing tennis at the age of six and was already successful on the junior tour. At the Australian Open and the Wimbledon Championships in 2012 he made it into the second round. His best placement was a combined 52nd place in the junior world rankings .

For the pros, he mainly plays on the second and third class ITF Future Tour and ATP Challenger Tour . So far he has won four singles and 21 doubles on the Future Tour.

At the beginning of his career he only played tournaments on the Future Tour, where he was particularly successful in doubles. In September 2015 he made his debut on the Challenger Tour in Seville . In 2016, his most successful result was a semi-finals in Kenitra . In July of the following year he won the double title in San Benedetto with Carlos Taberner . Before they defeated Flavio Cipolla and Adrian Ungur in the final, they defeated the top seeded duo Luca Margaroli and Tristan-Samuel Weissborn in the semifinals . In singles, a semi-final in Banja Luka was his greatest success so far. In November of that year he finished 204th, his best position in doubles so far. In singles, he made it into the top 400 in the world for the first time with 391st place in May 2018.
