Michael Roscher (sports presenter)

Michael Roscher (born March 20, 1973 in Mödling ) is an Austrian sports presenter and commentator at ORF .

life and career

Roscher graduated from the Don Bosco Gymnasium Unterwaltersdorf in 1992 . From 1992 to 1995 he studied journalism and communication sciences as well as psychology at the University of Vienna , but did not graduate.

At the same time, he completed training in radio and television journalism at ORF, where he began as an entertainment presenter in the Lower Austria regional studio in 1992 and then worked as a journalist. He has been there in the ORF TV sports department since 2001. Since 2004 he has also been commenting on ski jumping , Nordic skiing , football (e.g. the 2016 European Football Championship and the 2018 Football World Cup ), table tennis and equestrian sports at the station.

Roscher is married and has four children.
