Pola Andriessens

Pola Andriessens (born November 26, 1919 in Mannheim ) is a German psychologist . She is professor emeritus at the Georg Elias Müller Institute for Psychology at the Georg August University of Göttingen . She was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for her commitment to helping disabled children, but especially for planning, founding and expanding the Christophorushaus in Göttingen .

Life

Andriessens is the daughter of the chief engineer Clément Andriessens and his wife Margarete, b. MENZ, originally the Netherlands , from 1957 Germany. She attended Liselotte Gymnasium Mannheim until 1934 and, after moving, the Kleine Burg college in Braunschweig , graduating from high school in 1939. Since 1938 Fritzi Eggeling has trained as an actress at the Braunschweig State Theater with final acting examination in Berlin in 1941. 1941/42 engagement at the Kurhessische Landesbühne Kassel , Department of the Kassel State Theater , Artistic Director Franz Ulbrich .

1944 Start of psychology studies at the Technical University of Braunschweig , 1946 pre-diploma in Braunschweig, 1948 diploma main examination for psychology at the Institute for Psychology of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, 1951 doctorate there. 1949 to 1951 assistant in psychology at the Alfeld University of Education . Dissertation “The applicability of the Bühler-Hetzer development test procedure for diagnosing eight- and nine-year-old auxiliary school children”, then research assistant, adjunct lecturer, since 1957 professor at the University of Education in Göttingen, since 1963, the year the University of Education was integrated into the university Göttingen, Professor in the Department of Education.

From 1962 participation in the planning, construction and design of the Diakonie Christophorushaus in Göttingen , further training and advice for employees; Inclusion of student teachers.

1976 Further training as a psychotherapist for individual psychology
