The Polarforschung-Glacier ( English Polarforschung Glacier ) is a crevasse- rich glacier on the Ingrid-Christensen-Coast of the East Antarctic Princess-Elisabeth-Land . It flows in a north-northwesterly direction along the western flank of the Meknattane and opens opens directly west of the Polar Record Glacier in the Publications Ice Shelf of Prydz Bay . The Vestknatten rises in its estuary.

The American cartographer John H. Roscoe (1915-2007) mapped it in 1952 using aerial photographs of the American Operation Highjump (1946-1947). He named it after the specialist journal Polarforschung, which appears today in Bremerhaven (then in Kiel ) . The neighboring glaciers were also named after magazines in which mainly articles on polar topics are published.
