It is published by a joint venture between the US political magazine Politico and the German Axel Springer SE .

profile

Politico's reporting focuses on the entire EU policy, reporting from the member countries, but also from the USA and global political developments, plus comments and background reports. Special supplements appear about once a month on specific policy areas.

Events

Politico regularly organizes conferences and debates in Brussels and the national capitals, as well as a gala evening in autumn. Lobby organizations are often partners, but also officials from the European institutions are speakers and discussion participants, including the EU commissioners and vice-presidents.

Politico also regularly publishes special supplements on individual policy areas, which are also co-financed by private and non-governmental organizations .
