Political Psychology - Journal of Political Psychology is a bilingual specialist journal for the interdisciplinary field of political psychology . The journal, which appears in German and English, followed the Zeitschrift für Politische Psychologie in 2006 . The editorial department is based at Siegfried Preiser at the Psychological University Berlin and is published by Pabst Science Publishers from Lengerich.
The publication appears twice a year with an actual circulation of 580 copies. The journal is the official organ of the Political Psychology Section of the Professional Association of German Psychologists (BDP) and the Walter Jacobsen Society for Political Education and Political Psychology (WJG). It follows the journal for political psychology published from 1993 to 2006 .
The contributions are subject to the peer review process. The journal is interdisciplinary (e.g. psychology, political science, sociology, pedagogy) and is intended to contribute to a broader understanding of political psychology. The connection between theory and practice is to be strengthened and new, innovative topics, methods and research projects are supported. Three types of post are possible: Articles and analyzes, project and practical reports, as well as communications and book reviews. Contributions can be published in German or English.
