The Zeitschrift für Politische Psychologie (ZfPP) was a German-language specialist journal for the interdisciplinary field of political psychology .

The journal was superseded in 2006 by the bilingual Political Psychology - Journal of Political Psychology . The predecessor was "PP-Aktuell: Information sheet of the Political Psychology Section in the BDP", which was published from 1992 to 1994.

The publication appeared four times a year, including one issue in the form of a double issue. The ZfPP was the official organ of the Political Psychology Section of the Professional Association of German Psychologists (BDP) and the Walter Jacobsen Society for Political Education and Political Psychology (WJG). The circle of editors consisted of Thomas Kliche, Helmut Moser, Rainer Dollase , Carl Friedrich Graumann , Rainer Krieger, Leo Montada and Siegfried Preiser.

According to the self-description of the editors, the focus was on the classic topics of political psychology. According to this, these were, partly in dialectical terms, the enemy images and conflicts, exclusion and group formation, stereotyping and its media discourses, propaganda and manipulation, political traumatization, Holocaust and genocide, participation and apathy, resistance and altruism, conformism and authoritarianism, political education and socialization .
