The Poliusstraße in the district town Düren ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ) is an ancient historic city road .

The street leads from Franziskanerstraße to Wallstraße . On the north side of the street is the rear of the listed Leopold Hoesch Museum with the new extension.
The street used to be within the city fortifications of Düren .
history
Poliusstraße is named after Jacobus Polius (1588 / 89–1656). Among other things, he was the first historian in the city of Düren.
On February 1, 1889, the city council decided to name the street after Jacobus Polius.
