Police Chief Master

Police chief master (abbreviation POM ) is an official designation of police enforcement officers in the German police in the career of the middle police enforcement service .

POM are classified in grade A 8. Holders of this official title have completed a probation promotion from the official title of police master. They are investigators for the public prosecutor's office .

The most common use is as a clerk in individual police forces and as a group leader in closed units .

The rank badge of the police consists of three light blue stars on a dark blue background. At the water police and at the Federal Police Office in See three golden strands / stripes of 8 mm each can be seen on a navy blue background.

The next higher rank is police chief (grade A9 ).

The equivalent of the POM at the criminal police is the official designation Kriminalobermeister (KOM).
