Police Headquarters Rheinpfalz
The Rheinpfalz Police Headquarters, based in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, is one of five police headquarters of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Police . The authority is located in the south-east of Rhineland-Palatinate and is responsible for the regions of Vorderpfalz and Südpfalz. In the area of around 2,400 square kilometers, the authority takes care of the public safety of 870,000 residents. In this area the chemical industry, agriculture and viticulture dominate the economy.
Area of responsibility
The area of responsibility includes the cities of Ludwigshafen am Rhein , Speyer , Frankenthal , Landau and Neustadt an der Weinstraße as well as the districts of Rhein-Pfalz , Südliche Weinstraße , Bad Dürkheim and Germersheim .

The police headquarters are headed by Police President Thomas Ebling and Police Vice President Mr. Police Director Georg Litz.
Field Office
The Rheinpfalz Police Headquarters is located at Wittelsbachstrasse 3 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein . In 2017 it was announced that the police headquarters were moving into a new building in Heinigstrasse on Hochstrasse Süd.
