Polish Humanitarian Organization

The Polish Humanitarian Organization (Polish: Polska Akcja Humanitarna , PAH ; English: Polish Humanitarian Action ) is a Polish non-governmental organization .

The PAH provides humanitarian aid both in Poland and abroad. The PAH is founded and managed by Janina Ochojska . The organization was founded in 1994 on the initiative of employees of the French EquiLibre Foundation in Warsaw , Toruń and Łódź . PAH's headquarters are in Warsaw, with regional offices in Krakow and Toruń. The full-time employees are supported by volunteers. The Austrian Foreign Service has been sending social workers to the Krakow office since 2004.

The aim of the PAH is to create a better world by alleviating human suffering and promoting humanitarian values.
