Polish School of Mathematicians

The Polish School of Mathematicians is the name of a creative group of mathematicians who were active in Poland in the 1920s and 1930s . The centers of this maths school were in Warsaw , Lemberg and Cracow . This scientific elite includes mathematicians like Stefan Banach , Stanisław Ulam , Wacław Sierpiński , Samuel Eilenberg , Stanisław Leśniewski and others.
